javaws command is not working but java is installed on linux environment

$ sudo javaws viewer.jnlp 
Output:
bash: javaws: command not found...

How to resolve the issue ?

Run this command in the terminal
$ sudo update-alternatives --config java
Output:
There are 2 programs which provide 'java'.

  Selection    Command
-----------------------------------------------
*+ 1           java-1.8.0-openjdk.x86_64 (/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.141-1.b16.fc24.x86_64/jre/bin/java)
   2           /usr/java/jdk1.8.0_144/jre/bin/java

Enter to keep the current selection[+], or type selection number: 
Need to select number 2 here to enable javaws command.
There are 2 programs which provide 'java'.

Check javaws command again on the environment

$ javaws
Output:

where run-options include:

  -system        	run the application from the system cache only
