Configure a new repo in Fedora / Centos / RHEL 8
Step1: Create a file '*.repo' in /etc/yum.repos.d/ directory for the required repo url's based on below format.
/etc/yum.repos.d/<repo_file_name>.repo
Sample new repo file content,
[repo_file_name] name=<name> baseurl=<repo-url> enabled=1 gpgcheck=0
Step2: Once created the repo file in directory '/etc/yum.repos.d/', configure the created repo using below command.
$ sudo dnf config-manager --add-repo /etc/yum.repos.d/<repo_file_name>.repo
Output:
Adding repo from: file:///etc/yum.repos.d/rdopkg.repo
Step3: Once repo is configured, you can install the packages under repo url using below command in fedora / centos /rhel 8.
$ dnf install <package_name>
